You can sit and watch TV all day, or you can work for your family, preparing nutritious meals, keeping them clothed and making sure that your house is a welcoming (and safe!) place for everyone to come home to!Jannettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11650623703551449681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647398646594937688.post-92057949418658023292020-09-17T12:39:35.904-02:302020-09-17T12:39:35.904-02:30As ever, your insights are spot-on! Just this week, I've begun a Beth Moore study called "Children of the Day," based on Thessalonians ! and !!, so I'm looking forward to hearing Beth's take on all this, and especially "working with your hands" as it applies to those of us who use our hands to create. Another concept these verses beg for exploration is... how is a retired person meant to work? I ask myself that question often, especially as I see myself spending oodles of time indulging in self-satisfying quiltmaking and sewing! It's a concern I pray about, especially during these stay-at-home pandemic days. FlourishingPalmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13191140553844000267noreply@blogger.com
