One site I recommend is Featherweight RX and sort through his blogs about cleaning. Basically start with mild soap and water and progress from there. Also check out Nova's featherweight and the Quilting Board (vintage machine section)<br />I have a portable of this model which has been motorized ... it is available for parts as I decided against restoring it. It did run when I first got it but the wiring is kaput.Suzzy Qhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10959303043200613525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647398646594937688.post-71024537612111683412014-09-05T20:25:46.849-02:302014-09-05T20:25:46.849-02:30There are videos online that will show you how to...There are videos online that will show you how to wind the bobbin. I would suggest the names of some of the other goddesses, but they are more like Mekhit, Neith, Nekhbet, Nut, Serqet... Might not be what you want to name your machine. I still like Isis. :)Jasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18247780468856514907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647398646594937688.post-27084974777089975282014-09-05T18:11:10.881-02:302014-09-05T18:11:10.881-02:30Congratualtions!
