Devoted Quilter: Devotions 2013

Hi, I'm Leanne! I've been quilting more than half my life. I love scrap quilts, blender fabrics, and free motion quilting on my Janome 6700 domestic machine. I also love combining different techniques in my quilts, so my patterns use a mix of traditional piecing, appliqué, paper piecing, and hand embroidery. I believe even the smallest scraps can be used to make something beautiful. I live in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and if I'm not quilting I'm probably reading, baking, hiking or snowshoeing (depending on the season), or strolling along the beach. Thanks to all the time I spend on the beach, my sea glass and beach rock collections almost rival my fabric collection!
